Viva Chorale! Presents Earth Voices

Join Viva Chorale as the choir takes you to the sylvan dome of a woodland night, and feel voices on the wind as leaves descend to the forest floor. Canadian composers such as Tim Corlis, Stephen Chapman and Sheryl Sewepagaham offer interpretations of earth and forest, and our connection to the land and changing climate.

Prepare to experience a range of emotions and tonalities from the power and strength of a thunderstorm to the soft opening of a flowering bud. We are deeply honoured to present the world premier composition “Gentle the Heart” by Juno Award Winner Leela Gilday, and we’re excited that Leela will be joining us for the performances. We are also happy to feature local talent with Derrick Milton on Flugel Horn and Jamie Hall on Marimba. The concert offers something for everyone as Viva Chorale continues to push the boundaries of what a choral ensemble can accomplish!
