Salt Spring Basketry Guild members will teach how to make cordage (very thin rope) from a wide variety of natural materials. Think leaves (daffodil, iris, crocosmia), barks (willow, cedar), grasses (sisal, miscanthus). Participants are invited to drop by and try your hand at this age-old technique.
