ARTSPRING'S 25th OPENING CELEBRATION

The 25th Anniversary celebrations begin with a bang and an Opening Ceremony to remember. The evening begins with a literal chorus of community voices as 70 members of seven community choirs combine to kick off the show. Salt Spring's Super Group. A giant choir of Viva Chorale!, Salt Spring Singers, Women of Note, United Church Choir, Bach on the Rock, and The Lost Chords.

Appearances from GISS Improv, Claire Whitelaw and dancers from GISS, a storyteller shares a memory of ArtSpring, representatives of past, present, and future share a poem by a Salt Spring legend, the 14-piece Swing Shift turns up the volume and more.

Guests are invited to join a cash-bar reception in the gallery to mingle and celebrate with neighbours and community after the show.
