Event Notes
The Salt Spring Forum is delighted to welcome Dr. Kathryn Harrison to guide our discussion and answer questions from the public.
Kathryn Harrison is Professor of Political Science at UBC, and studies environmental, climate, and energy policy, federalism, and comparative public policy. She is the author of the book Passing the Buck: Federalism and Canadian Environmental Policy.
Dr.Harrison attended COP 25 in Madrid and is ideally qualified to talk about the upcoming COP26 in Glasgow with the potentially huge implications any outcomes have for the future health of the planet. As the world either burns or floods the sense that we are at the tipping point has never been more stark. Are there grounds for optimism? Are there grounds for hope?
