This is another chance to see the first instalment of Jeffrey Renn’s work on the life of the spectacularly popular poet, Robert Service. Created from autobiographical sources, this play recounts his humble Scottish beginnings to his departure for the Canadian Gold Rush in 1894. Deftly performed through poem, song, and story by Renn, it’s a pure gold nugget of theatrical experience.
