Salt Spring Singers:Christmas Treasures

Salt Spring Singers annual Christmas concert includes musical favourites suggested by the singers and their audiences plus other gems from the choral repertoire. Director Don Conley has chosen beautiful works by John Rutter, Morten Lauridsen and Josef Haydn plus a a new choral work that has gone viral in choral circles; Across the Vast Eternal Sky by Ola Gjeilo. As well as these choral treasures, a subset of the main choir will sing selections by Palestrina, Dufay, Mozart and Leontovich. Our special guest Cicela Månsson will delight listeners with her magnificent coloratura soprano voice enhancing this year's festive program. Performances at ArtSpring on Saturday December 8 at 7:30 and Sunday December 9 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for youth.
