A collection of original short stories told with the metaphorical grace of puppetry. The cast consists of intricate marionettes and rod puppets carved of wood, as well as unusual characters created simply with silk scarves and the hands and feet of the puppeteer. Bernd Ogrodnik leaves his audience with images that occupy them long after leaving the theatre, strengthening them in dealing with the ‘theatre of daily life’. Ogrodnik has been offering excellence and innovation in the field of puppetry since 1986 with formal training in classical music, woodworking, and movement arts. He has toured Europe, Canada, the US, the Caribbean, Middle East, and Asia as a performer and lecturer at festivals, universities, and conferences.

We acknowledge the support of the Canada Council for the Arts, which last year invested $153 million to bring the arts to Canadians throughout the country.

Generously sponsored by Victoria Olchowecki.
