× Lyse Doucet is the BBC's chief international correspondent. For over 30 years she has covered every war in the Middle East, as well as political and military crises elsewhere in the world, and such natural disasters as the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. A Canadian, she is a recipient of the Order of Canada, and also of a British OBE for her distinguished career as one of the world's leading journalists. The Forum's conversation with Ms Doucet comes at a time of extraordinary world-wide attack on the profession of journalism. This is a chance for Salt Spring residents of hear from one of the best in the world.
